Stipend Program
White Williams Scholars' mission is to help public high school students maintain good grades, stay in school and concentrate on their studies. Students are given stipends to help them pay for supplies, books, food and other school-related expenses.
Eligibility
Students must meet all the eligibility guidelines.- Philadelphia residents in grades 9 through 12 enrolled in a School District of Philadelphia public high school.
- All A's and B's in major subjects. Students may have one C but it must be balanced by an A in another major subject (one credit course or more). Students may not have any D's in major subjects. Students must have at least five major day school courses (one credit or more) each semester or the equivalent of a full-time block roster.
- Family income should not exceed the amounts listed below.

Qualified students should contact a counselor at school to obtain an application or download the application here [216K PDF]. Proof of income and most recent grades must be submitted with the application. Correspondence is sent to the home high school and to the student.
